We have made a SuDS planter out of our popular seller Big City Planter. In the wet cold months many areas are more vulnerable to flooding with large rainfall periods which can build up to flooding.
Climate change as has a huge impact on how we are living experience extreme weather conditions. By having some water management system in place it will reduce the risks and potential challenges ahead.

Description

Flood Risk Management: Effectively reduce the impact of floods by managing during heavy rainfall by collecting rainwater then slowly releasing (approx. 24lpm) it into the local drainage network.

Partial Attenuation: 50% attenuation (190 litres) with slow release and 50% rainwater harvesting suitable for regular garden use.

Stylish Planter Design: Ideal for the keen gardener, the extra-large reservoir collects plenty of naturally soft rainwater, whilst the small footprint means that it takes up very little space. It doubles as an elegant planter - so it looks beautiful too. Change the planting from season to season to ensure all-year-round interest.

Quality Material: The Cosmo is UK designed and manufactured. The polymer used in its manufacture is guaranteed frost-proof and is fully recyclable. The latest UV stabilisation technology means that the colours will not fade.

How do I collect rainwater ?

To collect rainwater, you will need a water butt connected to a downpipe via rainwater diverter.

What are your water butts made of?

All Ecosure water butts are manufactured from high quality Medium Density Polythylene (MDPE). This strong durable material is weather and impact resistant.

How do I install rainwater diverter?

You can install a diverter anywhere on our water butts. We would recommend near the top but not too near the corners

Can they be installed underground?

We manufacture a range of water tanks specifically design to be installed underground. Available in non-potable and potable versions.

How do I get the rainwater out?

Each water butt has brass outlet moulded into them during the manufacturing process. This outlet can be used to attached a tap or shut off valve.

How do I gain access to the water butt?

Most come fitted with a 9'' vented lid or 14'' or 16'' for our larger versions. We also produce a range of Wall Mounted Water Butts which have smaller lids.
