About the Ecosure 50,000 litre / 11,000 gallon non potable water tank

Our Fire Tank Systems with Instantaneous Connections are ideal to help comply with building or fire regulations to protect employees, buildings and contents. These essential systems ensure there is always an emergency water supply available.

This system includes various Instantaneous Connections which provide a simple solution to connect multiple lengths of hose together. These fittings are widely used in water delivery applications by the British Fire Brigade.

The water tank included is made from high quality medium density polyethylene. Suitable for outdoor use, it is weather and impact resistant. Each tank can be easily positioned using the pre-moulded lifting eyes. Access can be made through the 24'' lid on top of the tank.

At the top of the tank are four possible in/out lets for you to connect your pipe work to. Allowing you to connect large pipes pipe connection places will allow sizes up to 6".

What are your water tanks made of?

All Ecosure water tanks are manufactured from high quality Medium Density Polythylene (MDPE). This strong durable material is weather and impact resistant.

Can they be installed underground?

We manufacture a range of water tanks specifically design to be installed underground. Available in non-potable and potable versions.

How do I get the water out?

Each tank has brass outlet moulded into them during the manufacturing process. This outlet can be used to attached a tap or shut off valve. The size of the outlet depends on the size of the tank.

How do I gain access to the tank?

Each tank is fitted with a vented lid and range from 9'' for our smaller baffled tanks and 14'' or 16'' for our larger tanks. Some are available as lockable lids. We also produce a unique range of Total Access Water Tanks where the entire top of the tank canbe removed and replaced.
