Prevent Algae

Algae requires sunlight in order to grow, generaly Ecosure water butts are either a solid colour or mixed style such as Sandstone or Millstone, these solid and mixed colours prevent sunlight hitting the water inside. However, you should also make sure you keep the lid screwed on tight at all times.

Should a build up of algae appear, you can easliy wipe the internal walls with a cloth.
